Information We Collect
We collect personal information in the categories listed below. Depending on how you interact with our Services, not every category will apply to you.
- Identifiers (your name, phone number, and email when you request a callback)
- Sign-up details (your email, your first name if you give it, and which of our guides or the Attorney Connection Program waitlist you asked for)
- What you tell us about your situation (the description you type)
- Internet activity (pages visited, device type, approximate city-level location, via analytics cookies)
When you request a callback, we store your request (name, phone, optional email, the kind of help you asked for, your preferred language, and what you told us) in our secure database so our team and the attorney we connect you with can follow up. We keep it while your request is active and for up to 24 months after it is closed, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time. See “Your Privacy Rights” below.
When you sign up for our guides or the Attorney Connection Program waitlist, we store your email, your first name if you give it, the options you chose, the page you signed up from, and the time you agreed. We send one confirmation email and add you to the list only after you click the link in it. If you never click it, we delete the sign-up after 14 days. The list itself is held with Resend, our email provider. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to remove you at any time.
We also automatically collect technical information when you visit our website, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and general location (city/state level). This information is collected through cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
